  • Shared charters only fly once enough seats sell; BARK Air confirms them at least 30 days before departure and refunds you if a flight is cancelled.
  • Shared charter cancellations are refunded only 90 or more days before departure (later, only if BARK Air resells your seat).
  • Two small dogs on one ticket: the FAQ says "two dogs if the combined weight is less than 50lbs", while the shared charter answer says "as long as their combined weight is 50 pounds or less". Confirm with BARK Air.

Carrier size and weight

Where pets can't fly

BARK Air lists no routes where pets are refused.

Breeds

BARK Air says "We welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds." It doesn't mention short-nosed breeds specifically, and for international trips it asks you to check the destination's breed rules. Confirm with BARK Air before you book a short-nosed dog or cat.

Also good to know

  • The person booking must be 18 or older, and children under 10 can't fly.
  • Dogs need up-to-date vaccination records. International routes need the destination's paperwork, and BARK Air's concierge helps with it.
  • BARK Air may refuse boarding to any dog or person whose behavior poses a safety risk.
  • Cats and other pets: BARK Air says it's happy to explore it; they must stay in a carrier the whole time.
