How to add your dog to a booking

  1. Pets can't be booked: easyJet doesn't carry them.
  2. Assistance dogs: tell easyJet's assistance team about your dog's health and training certification as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours before departure. easyJet checks with the training organisation that the training is appropriate for air travel.
  3. Arrive at Bag Drop or the Special Assistance area at least 2 hours before departure, so there's time to complete any paperwork.

    Other details

    • Assistance dogs fly free in the cabin on most easyJet routes, in addition to your baggage allowance, if they have been certified by a recognised assistance dog training organisation. Emotional support dogs and pets of any kind aren't accepted.
    • Dogs trained by an organisation accredited to Assistance Dogs International (ADI) or the International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF) can be accepted on all permitted routes. For travel within or between the European Union and Switzerland (excluding the UK), other organisations with comparable training standards may be accepted case by case; contact easyJet's assistance team.
    • Vaccination requirements vary by destination, and you are responsible for the required vaccinations. Tell the animal reception centre at the arrival airport that you are travelling with an assistance dog; failing to may mean the dog is denied entry or placed in quarantine, and you may be fined for incorrect documentation.
    • Assistance dogs in training may be accepted on certain flights if the dog is in the advanced stage of training and under the control of an ADI or IGDF accredited trainer; call easyJet's assistance team.
